Car insurance
As a Clydesdale Private member you can benefit from peace of mind knowing your motor car insurance policy includes the following:
- A 24-hour (365 days) claim line
- A hire car for up to 48 hours in the event that your car is stolen, immobilised or unrecoverable
- A courtesy car for the duration of the repairs
- Unlimited cover for standard fit in-car equipment, £750 cover for non-standard equipment
- Take out another car insurance policy and we'll match the no claims discount
Motor legal protection
Motor legal protection is designed to protect your legal rights and is automatically covered when you become a policyholder. If you are involved in a motor accident which is not your fault, we will try to recover uninsured losses on your behalf, finding and paying for a lawyer to represent you, if necessary.
Your claim will be handled by FirstAssist Insurance Services, who will make all reasonable efforts to recover uninsured losses following an accident which is not your fault.
A team of qualified legal advisers can provide free, confidential advice on motoring matters such as:
- How to make a claim against another person following an accident if you do not have our Uninsured Loss Recovery Insurance.
- Consumer issues relating to motoring such as if you are unhappy with a car you bought.
- How to proceed if you are facing prosecution for driving or parking offences.
Breakdown assistance
Anyone who calls the Breakdown Assistance Helpline will deal with experienced Controllers who will see your problem through from start to finish.
A nationwide network of over 4,250 rescue vehicles at your disposal. We will identify the exact location of your breakdown using the very latest technology.
Standard cover costs just £63 per year (including insurance premium tax) and features:
- 24-hour assistance, 365 days a year
- Roadside assistance
- Onward travel to UK destinations for you and your passengers
- Assistance if your car breaks down at your home
