Our aim is to make access to Clydesdale Bank banking services and information as easy as possible for disabled customers.

Statements, documents and information packs
For those who are visually-Impaired, we can offer bank account statements, documents and information packs in Braille,large print and audio formats

Using the ATM
Selected ATM's also have award-winning text-to-speech functionality, to help guide visually-impaired customers using them.  Each key depression generates an audible tone, and there is a raised dot on the ‘5’ key to help you orientate yourself on the keypad.  Where possible, we also try to position ATMs to be accessible for wheelchair users.

Access to branches
As part of our programme of refurbishment of branches, we try to design or modify our branches with ease of access in mind, including features like:

  • ramps and/or wheelchair lifts where necessary
  • low-level counters
  • counters with a hearing induction loop
  • interview rooms accessible for wheelchair users
